Students
As we mentioned in the beginning, Student Sleuths is FREE to students and prospective employers. Student Sleuths is a large
database of qualified students from all over the world trying to connect with prospective employers in the attempt to secure employment.
The process is quite simple. To begin, select the Register button on the menu bar above. You will be asked to register with Student Sleuths
and provide information that will be useful to prospective employers. The data submission is comprised of four main components, the first gathers some personal information about
you including contact details. The second component focuses on your skill sets that you have acquired to date. Check all the boxes that are applicable bearing in mind,
an employer will often ask you to provide real life examples of how you have demonstrated those skills. The third part is a list of common positions held by students and helps
prospective employers focus in on their search. The last section provides an area for you to record some of your previous work experience.
Prior to beginning the registration process for Student Sleuths, please read the Terms and Conditions for using Student Sleuths. Use of this website will indicate
acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
Once you have submitted your data through Student Sleuths, you will have the option to come back and modify your data as well as
taking yourself out of the search critieria in the event you are successful and no longer require employment. To access your data, choose the Log In button on
the menu bar under the Students section.
During the registration process we ask for different methods that employers can contact you. We require an email address in the event you need to recover
your password and provide you with an option not to make it public. We do provide employers with the means of sending you an email through Student Sleuths
based on the email address that you have on file. The choice to disclose your home phone number or cell phone number is optional and at your choice.
Employers interested in searching our database of students actively seeking employment are first required to register with us and must be logged in to
Student Sleuths to complete any online searches.
Students can also search our databases for any job postings submitted by employers looking for students as well as searching Job Spotted which provides
the posting of jobs that are spotted in the marketplace in real time.
